Strive, Achieve, Excel; Believe in a Limitless Future.
Our main format of communication from school is via a free app by the name of SCHOOP.
SCHOOP is a FREE app that can be downloaded to any i-phone, i-pad, android phone or you can subscribe via email. Our SCHOOP ID is 6929.
The idea of SCHOOP is to provide a modern and up-to-date form of communication between school and parent/carer. The app allows you to receive messages from teachers and the support staff and view the school calendar and newsletters online. All of this information can be translated into forty different languages.
The main reason for introducing SCHOOP is to reduce the amount of paperwork that is sent out with children via book bags, as the cost has significantly increased over the years. SCHOOP is also a fast, instantaneous form of communication. As a school we are constantly trying to act upon feedback from parents, and communication is one area that required improvement. We hope the introduction of SCHOOP will make this more effective.
If you have not yet downloaded the app, please can we encourage you to do so, as SCHOOP will be the main form of communicating information to parents alongside the Lainesmead Primary School Website and emails.
